Hi Ian

Following your travels closely all I can say is that you are a real hero in your great venture just as you were with your underwater Scuba diving not only diving deep into wrecks etc but also as a great diving PADI instructor. I qualified with your training and still remember our diving in Zanzibar and all your good advice when I was going wild taking underwater movies. Those were the days and our days on the P&O;Cruise liners entertaining.

Love and best wishes from Benny & Betty

Hi Ian. If you are still in KZN you should check out Stoney Ridge 4X4. I saw a programme on the Southern Africa direct channel in the UK (Sky 270 in which Andrew St-Pierre White did a whole load of offroad driving techniques there along with John Rich the centre owner and very experienced offroader.Well worth a look! Their website is www.stoneyridge.co.za and their GPS cooridinates are: GPS Co-Ords(WGS 84)
S 28º 45' 58.6"
E 029º 57' 29.6"

Have fun

Hello from the BMW boys: Dan and Richie.

We've made it back to the big smoke without injury, although we came perilously close to running out of whiskey at times. We hired bush taxis the rest of the way to the Gambia after leaving you in Nouadhibou - swindled, cheated and conned every step of the way.

Good luck for your onward journey. Rest assured that you remain the coolest man wearing a Land Rover cap we have ever met.
